Ombe
Huntingfarm & Safari
A Legacy of Excellence Since 1953
The hunting area on Ombe covers 4,100 ha and is located 160 km from Hosea Kutako International Airport. The landscape is characterized by red Kalahari sand with large camel thorn acacias. The varied bush and grass savanna and the special biodiversity are perfect for hunting. The best time for hunting is from March to September.
In addition to adventurous, sustainable hunting safaris, Ombe also offers photo safaris to its guests. Upon request, after your farm stay, you have the opportunity to discover surrounding sights within Namibia accompanied by a professional tour guide.
Your hosts, Florian & Katrin Zwar, warmly welcome you to the Ombe Hunting & Guest Farm. Farm Ombeameiata/Ombe has been owned by the Zwar family since 1953. Already in the 70s, the Zwar grandparents welcomed the first hunting guests from overseas.
Guests appreciate Ombe’s family atmosphere, excellent cuisine, spacious rooms with private bathrooms, and exciting insights into a Namibian farm operation. WiFi is available in the garden and bar area. An organic swimming pool and surrounding waterholes are accessible at any time for relaxation or wildlife viewing.

EXCELLENT Based on 16 reviews Nadine Müller4 August 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thomas Schierenberg6 May 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Es war einfach schön Nina Peschl27 January 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ana10 July 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Andreas Kramer6 June 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Pure Namibia! A place where you can experience a farm visit in real life. The warmest welcome during our two-month Namibia trip! The rustic campsite (200.-pppn) offers a hot shower, braai area, sink, free firewood, shade, tables. Here you can swim with goldfish in a three metre deep water tank and the Ombe guest farm is one of the few where you can explore the area completely freely on two signposted hiking trails (2.7km or 5.5km). Impalas, kudus, ostriches, warthogs, wildebeests, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards and others can be seen. Game drives for 300.-pp are available. You can visit the smithy, stables and hay barn. Bungalows, a bar and a beautiful garden are also available. Luzian Grabietz25 August 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Zdecydowanie polecam Ombe Guestfarm! Spędziliśmy tam wspaniałe chwile. Piękne widoki, przyjazna obsługa i wiele aktywności do wyboru. Dziękujemy Katrin i Florianowi!❤️ Heidi Kemps-Essing12 November 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
